# When will I see my driver details?

You’ll see your driver’s details **at least 1 hour before departure**. At that point, you’ll be able to **contact (via sms or call) your driver directly** through the app. Additionally, it is recommended to track your driver’s real-time location in the app to monitor their progress and ensure smooth communication.

It’s essential to monitor your driver’s location in the app until they arrive. Real-time tracking keeps you informed of any changes in their movement or ETA.

### Rare Exceptions:

In some cases, driver details may be delayed due to: 

* A **temporary delay** in matching due to traffic or demand
* A **last-minute driver cancellation**

You can always find the **latest trip and driver updates directly in the Hitch app.** These updates include real-time location tracking and dynamically generated ETAs that adjust based on traffic or route changes.

Estimated times of arrival (ETAs) in the Hitch app are dynamically updated using real-time data to reflect changes in traffic and other variables.

To avoid confusion, it’s important to note that exact arrival times depend on multiple factors like traffic and route adjustments, but the app ensures timely updates to keep you informed.
