Driver Earnings & Withdrawals

Updated over 2 months ago

To receive earnings from your completed trips, make sure to set up your payout method before your first ride. You can manage this through the Earnings tab, located in the menu under your profile picture.

Note: This section is for driver payouts only. The "Payment" tab is for riders adding their payment method.

How to Set Up Your Earnings Tab:

  • Add a payout method

  • Link a bank account for standard direct deposits, or

  • Link a debit card for instant payouts

  • You can connect both if you prefer flexibility

  • Important: Prepaid cards are not eligible for payouts

Payout Options:

  • Standard Payouts

    • Free to use

    • Deposits take 2–3 business days

  • Instant Payouts

    • Funds transfer within 10–30 minutes

    • A small, dynamic fee will apply (you’ll see the fee amount before confirming the transfer)

Tip Transfers

If a rider tips you after a completed trip, the tip must first clear through the rider’s bank. This process usually takes 2–3 business days, after which the amount will appear in your earnings balance and become available for withdrawal.

Cancelling Return Trips

When accepting rides, you can often choose a one-way or round trip. If you choose a round trip, please be sure you can complete both legs: the outbound and the return.

If you cancel the return leg after beginning the outbound trip, a 50% pay reduction will apply to the outbound ride.

Canceling mid-route causes delays and confusion for riders and may also take away earning opportunities from other drivers in your area.

Enforcing Quality Expectations

Hitch riders count on being picked up at the agreed-upon time and location. To ensure a reliable experience, drivers are expected to arrive at their first pickup within 10 minutes of the scheduled departure time.

If you arrive later than 10 minutes to your first pickup, you may be subject to a pay deduction of up to 10% of your total round-trip fare. This deduction will never be less than $5 or more than $15.

Late arrivals not only inconvenience riders but can also disrupt other drivers’ opportunities in the area. Please plan ahead to avoid delays caused by traffic, fueling, or personal stops.

Withdrawing Your Earnings

Earnings will be available within a few hours after the entire trip is completed. The app will display the exact time your earnings will be ready for withdrawal.

This delay helps protect against fraudulent activity for both riders and drivers.
