How to Use Referral Credits on Hitch
At Hitch, we love rewarding our users for spreading the word about our app. Our referral credit program allows you to earn credits towards your rides simply by inviting your friends and family to join Hitch. Please note that referral credit offers can change with various promotions, so be sure to refer to the app for the most current promotions.
Sharing Your Referral Code
Share your referral link by either:
Copying the link and sending to your friend manually
Enabling contact sharing and sending directly from the Hitch referral page
Users must follow your referral link through the 'Claim Offer' tab to download and install the app for credits to be applied. Additionally, new users cannot have previously downloaded the app or set up a profile in order for the referral credits to be applied. Furthermore, referral credits are issued only after your referral completes their first trip using the referral flow, and any interruptions in the referral link process, such as closing the app or installing it outside the provided path, can disqualify the referral.
Using Your Earned Referral Credits
Using your referral credits is easy. When booking a ride, the pricing you see already includes any credits or discounts you might have on your account and it will be itemized at checkout. This means that you don't have to do anything special to use your referral credits - they will automatically be applied to your ride. If your referral credits are missing after your invitee completes their first ride, ensure they followed the referral steps correctly. Update your Hitch app, perform a full restart, and check your account balance under the 'Menu' section.

Please remember that our referral credit program and its terms can change. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time. We also reserve the right to revoke any referral credits if we suspect fraudulent activity or misuse of the program. Retroactive application of credits is not allowed, ensuring fairness and strict adherence to system tracking rules. Additionally, referral credits are managed by an automated system and cannot be manually added or overridden, even if the referral process was only partially completed or interrupted.
