Getting to your pick-up location

Here are some options for getting to your pick up spot

Updated over a week ago

For our station-to-station rides, Hitch uses safe, highly rated pickup spots — often coffee shops or well-known public locations — conveniently located along your route to the destination city.

How you get there is up to you, but here are a few common options:

  • A ride from a friend or family member

  • Local rideshare apps (e.g., Uber or Lyft)

  • Metro or public bus/train

  • Driving yourself

Please plan ahead by checking traffic and travel time using your preferred navigation app. Note: Drivers can only wait up to 10 minutes past your scheduled departure. After that, the ride will be canceled, and no credit refund will be issued.

Where can I keep my car?

Hitch does not provide or guarantee parking at any pickup spots.

If you choose to drive and park:

  • Use your best judgment — parking is at your own risk.

  • Hitch is not responsible for damage, theft, or towing of parked vehicles.

  • Avoid overnight parking at locations you’re not familiar with.

  • Always check posted signs and local parking regulations before leaving your car.
